DATA ANALYSIS

Warehousing and supply chain analysis
It’s my believe that in most cases data forms the basis of a good solution. This requires staying objective and finding solutions by asking the right questions.
In order to do this you need to be very critical to the goals you set and the way you want to achieve these goals. First Principle thinking will definitely help with that.
Doing a comprehensive analysis requires both understanding off the business and processes as well as the skills to master the tools you use.
The services I can provide entail, but are not limited to:
- Comprehensive analysis of your warehouse or supply chain data and processes
- Review and optimize existing concepts and ideas for (warehouse) automation
- Development of and help with the execution of concepts for your warehouse redesign
Tools
Having the skillset to master the tools is invaluable when doing more complex analysis. Like many I’ve started with using Excel, but over the years experienced the limitations of Excel more and more and ventured into other programs and extensions like PowerQuery, PowerPivot, PowerBI and SQL. These programs allow us to work with more and larger datasets. Also, these programs are significantly more efficient in doing more complex calculations.
Experience with the following tools has been gathered over the years:
- MS Excel
- MS PowerQuery
- MS PowerPivot
- MS PowerBI
- MS Access
- SQL
- AutoCAD (2D)
- Sketchup (3D)
